Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the daily activities of a designated room, ensuring a stimulating and safe environment.
Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that encourage children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Ensure all records related to the children’s progress are maintained and shared with parents/carers as necessary.
Mentor and support nursery staff within the room, ensuring best practices in child care are upheld.
Promote positive partnerships with parents and carers, providing feedback on their child’s progress.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and health and safety guidelines.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, or equivalent.
Prior experience in a leadership role within an early years setting.
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Enhanced CRB (DBS)
